Precautions
Keep out of reach of children.
The pigment is extremely well suited for watercolor painting. The impressive green hue comes out best in transparent paint applications. Blends of Special Black NIR with transparent yellow pigments allow a variety of interesting green shades, while blends with red pigments open up a blue, brown or gray color range which is often difficult to achieve.
Special Black NIR is also suitable for the production of oil paints, but flocculates in egg tempera. The pigment may also flocculate in some acrylic dispersions - we recommend using Dispersion K 498 (#76000) or Dispersion K 19 (#75305).
